My name is Paul Johnson, I work for Toogood & May Auctioners in Wiltshire. We have just received what appears to an unused JAP engined Sea-Bee to be offered in our next aucction on the 30th May 2011. The Catalogue is currently being produced I will advise when it is available.

I think that the maximum bid of 5 quid will not pay for the effort of lugging it in.

Mind you, I have a few original and well presented running ones down here, most sizes................Yeh 5 quid a pop.

A bit like a buyer would be a computer nerd with a pocket protector full of BICs :wink:

Here is a pic of one that somehow has not been moved from carport rack into some forgotten shed. It actually is in great condition, starts, runs, froths up water behind a boat but that is all it is.

Soulless hot smelly thing that JAP actually went to villiers for the recoil start assy. I mean really!

JAP made the power head for Anzani Super Singles way back when.......................

As far as I remember, this style of seabee had white plastic thumb screws and prop nut with a cast code or something stamp on the side of the leg, this was that later run of this model.
The early model had no stamp on the leg and no plastic parts, I had both and scrapped the later one.
I did invested in a new shed for storage since photo as my collection got bigger.
