unscrew the ring #4

I guess a 1968 one has a metal bowl Thats held by a nut underneath. Plastic ones just unscrew

yes no 29 on the diag so it just a nut under neath mate thank you :oops:

It's a bit more than "just a nut" but it unscrews then the float chamber will fall off.

There is a fibre washer between the two so watch out for that.

If you remove the centrepiece/jet # 11 watch out for the needle #30 and the washer #12
