A picture would be nice. You should have spent your money on a keyboard that has punctuation keys and can do capital letters

It is of course a thread about stuff for sale. But some of us (including me) would much rather you posted in English. Then we could read your posts without the tedious business of translation.

Bruce , looks like a late Coventry Auto Products , they seem to go the same route as Sea-Bees in using the GHASTLY JLO power unit.

Nothing at all! Displays perfectly as keyed on both my CRT and LCD displays. Carefully tried and checked your post on both of them!

The intelligibility of your post and subsequent entries from the colonies definitely tax the translation facility at http://uk.babelfish.yahoo.com/. (See tip #1)

And I'm sure Shannon would have also agreed that you were stretching the redundancy of the language. But to be fair that is a trait most colonials practise every day!

Lawnmower.

Nice fuel tap though, must be worth a couple of quid.

I am sure Bruce won't be sleeping thinking about this one that may get away.

This looks to me like a late Sea bee 1.5hp motor.
The JLO 77 engine was rated at about 1.5hp.
The JLO motors where average in build quality, many being used on fly mo hover mowers.
The weak points are the flywheel magnets,as they are stuck in with resin and tiny screws.
also models with plastic cooling fans soon loose fins
The exposed exhaust muffler gets very hot and will burn your arm.
Parts for these engines are only available from the USA,as JLO has long gone.
They sell on e*ay,but only fetch about £30-£40
They are not even in the same league as Seagulls re build quality and materials, but it has to be
said that they do hold in gearbox oil as they use grease.

Have I got one?.......er no.......well only 2. :(

In the 50’s "ILO" was the largest manufacturer of two stroke engines in Germany.
From 1957 to1975 the American Rockwell Manufacturing Company of Pittsburgh, took over the ILO works Pinneberg which now under the name "ILO Rockwell GmbH" was known. The illustrated engine is a 4 HP Engine of the early 70’s. Built in Pinneberg, Germany.

Ulrich that's a lot of power from 73 cc's a aircooled motor with a cheap small Villiers carb, are you sure of that figure or was it the manufactures quoted one?
Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.

Sorry!
I have read up again. The motor is like my 3 HP Nautilo L 75 (Year 1964). The 1964 has a Bing carb, a smaller exhaust and the same 73 cc power head.

Ulrich
