Propeller removal (Century CPC)
Just acquired my first and only CPC. How does the propeller come off? I've removed the cotter pin, washer, and drive spring. Can't get a good look inside there to see what's fetching up. Should it now just pull off, or do I have to disconnect some of the clutch mechanism? Thanks in advance.

Icy water 'gull
Hey All,
I couldn't wait any longer to try one of my 'gulls. Below are two links to a couple short videos of me this morning in some icy water running my WS ... A1. Ice isn't completely out of the lake yet, but by next weekend it should be totally clear.
Also here is a short video of the exit ...

tank leaking
Keith,
I've sealed tanks with a product called "slosh-n-seal". It may go by other names, however. Auto parts stores may carry it, or a similar product of another name. Just last week I sealed a "plastic" tank on a generator with the stuff. I removed the tank, rinsed a few times with detergent and ...

I think I found some "Gear Oil"
For What it's Worth:
I picked up some "Mobil 600W Super Cylinder Oil" The Lube Engineer spec'd it out for me as a straight 140 weight, non-synthetic mineral oil with no EP compounds. Sounds like Seagull Gear Oil to me. I'll give it a go. All the best.

# gulls owned
Just today I doubled my Gull inventory!
I was given 2 beauties that sat on a dusty shelf for several years after not selling in an auction. They are:
an LLSL M5 and a CPC F4 Both need only cosmetic restoration.

Got the "Silver Century" going !
Hi All,
Just got to say it's great having the message board up again. The temps almost hit t-shirt weather here today. I filled the barrel with water and clamped the freshly cleaned and painted WS 1622A1 inside. It started on the 3rd pull.

Re: Gearbox levels
>>" You are quite right about the early service sheets telling you to fill the motor whilst it was face down, filler uppermost. What they were very vague about was how full.... In later service manuals they clearly show the gearbox level as up to the lower lip of the filler hole with the motor ...
