Re: Another addition to the Flotilla
Hi Bruce, Yes it's now a part of the mini collection. It seems to grow ever so slowly, but still growing. I hope when I get to retire restoring these and mowers it will keep me busy.

Re: Another addition to the Flotilla
Hi Hugz, Currently I have no idea. I have only just uploaded a manual on it but haven't read it. There are starting instructions near the handle of the recoil starter, which states: Pump primer bulb until resistance is felt. If and when I get it started I will add to this thread. Thanks for your ...

Another addition to the Flotilla
A fellow work colleague enquired if I still dabbled in vintage outboards and would I be interested in his fathers old Johnson. After a quick look at the motor I decided I would purchase the motor and at a later stage, (when I'm permitted to retire), restore it to it's former glory. Whilst it's not ...

Re: What is it.
As an uneducated guess, could it be an early model Seachief? Made in Whitsable, Kent, possibly early 60's? . . . jonmac

Seagulls on the Murray
"Croweater" has just sent by post, two USB memory sticks of all the photo's taken on the marathon trip along the Murray. I spent an enthralling time this afternoon (after the cricket was over), going along for the ride. Some really incredible and majestic shots of the river and it's surrounds ...

Re: Grey Pictures
Hi guys, I've gone back to the attachments I couldn't open previously. This time there was no grey panels. But in relation to Hugz question, there was no link provided with the gray panel. Possibly I was not logged in correctly and therefore unable to view some attachments . . . jonmac

Grey Pictures
Whilst viewing members valuable contributions, I quite regularly come across attachments that are gray patches. I really am interested in what members show. Are they are in "Cloud" or are they in another area for viewing??? . . . jonmac

Re: Projects that may won't reach an end!
Reading a previous thread regarding "lurkers", are they members that just look and don't contribute?? If so, then I must be a small part-time one.

Re: Green Seagull
Hey Charles, Thanks for the update. Possibly it's an earlier model than first thought or someone's pulling his leg in regards to it be original. If photo's of it ever turn up, I'll forward them on. . . . jonmac

Green Seagull
I have a question that was raised in another forum. A gentleman states he has a 1950's Seagull, model unknown, that came off the production line painted in light green colour. Would this be true??? . . .jonmac

Re: Seagulls on The Murray
I spent an evening and a morning with John and Greg on the river. It was a great experience just to motor alongside the boys on this nostalgic river trip. Well done to all concerned. . . jonmac

Re: Murray River Boat
I have just returned back to Broken Hill after spending an afternoon, evening and morning with John and Greg on their journey down the Murray. Unfortunately I haven't a suitable boat so I just used my tinny and a 15 hp outboard. I contacted John and Greg when they were near Mildura, getting closer ...
