I've also got a block which has cracked right across the exhaust stub like that - and believe me, it's irrepairable - even if you are proficient with nickel rods - 'cause you can't get full access to the cracks in order to weld 'em.

IT can probably weld up

The plain, inescapable, fact is that cylinders that have splits in the outer layer of the casting have fatal internal corrosion which has caused extreme pressure sufficient to cause rupture of the outer wall. (just in case you missed the "**ffing" key word please let me ...

I'd like to see the period expense account and travel itinerary of the Sales/Marketing Director before coming to any conclusion ...........

But yes............it is far more romantic to believe someone did Poole to Sidney all those years ago without the help of Pan AM..........

Excellent? Do you really want to put your neck on the line with just one grub screw not vibrating loose whilst the other end of the coil core is flapping in the other "coil ear"? Maybe OK on a stationary engine ...
