Hi all
I have a Curlew, serial no. CL106A0 for sale, so QB series, longshaft, Jan 1990. The engine is fitted with clutch, CDI ignition, recoil starter and has the lever throttle ( not twistgrip). It also has the engine kill button.

Belay that - thanks for the replies guys, turns out not to be quite so old, SEFPC**E9, so May 1989 and a 40 plus 55 with clutch.
I'll post a couple of photos over the next day or so but seems to have been garage stored immediately after purchase and never used. Again, thanks for the advice. Alex

'Brand New' 40 Plus... start-up help
Hi Guys
New to the forum, and also Seagulls in general. I have been fortunate enough to have been given a 40 Plus, I think built around 1979. The engine has not run since leaving the dealers shop 30 years ago. What is my best course of action to get her running? my obvious worry is dry bearings etc ...
