Molyslip

Its the Molyslip gearbox additive available in syringe form, from most branches of Halfords and car accesory shops. Its a black colloidal graphite ....no doubt mixed with a few magic chemicals . :wink:

GEARBOX ADDITIVE............

Check my posting in general topics...........use a good dollop (about 1 egg cupfull )of Molyslip gearbox additive, mixed in with the 140, with each oil change. End of all gearbox lube problems. :wink:

Can anyone tell me the correct size and type of reamer to use for main bearing alignment........do all model seagulls have the same size mains ? Also what is the ignition timing (in terms of degrees) for the Silver Century Plus and Featherweight models...........

Fuel/ oil/air mix.

A further point to the 10:1 25:1 debate........years ago when we were tweaking 2 stroke motorcycles for racing purposes it was a generally held opinion that if more oil was added to the mixture ,the fuel /oil/air mix would run leaner and hotter if the carb jet size wasnt compensated for.
