con-rods

Are all the con-rods on the Century/ Silver century series interchangeable ?
I've a whole bunch of spares stuff now and one has 'Seagull 4' stamped on - one 'Seagull 1' - another two have no stamp at all. One is noticeably thicker than the others - and I have a brand new one, with no lettering, and a round hole in the small end shell casing, rather than a slot.
A 40 series and a Century both have 'Seagull 2' despite differing lengths - any logic to this ?

Will post on the for sale/wanted section soon what I've got spare/for swaps maybe.
