Saving Old Seagulls

Hi all
I had a search through old posts here hoping to find a list of the standard / recommended size of spanner and sockets but I couldn’t find what I was looking for. As I don’t have many Whitworth tools in my box I’ll need to go shopping.
Can somebody please suggest the basic / useful sizes I should look out for?
