Saving Old Seagulls

A few pictures from the great race. weather was perfect, rained just after we finished. water levels were very low and there were many sandbanks and logs. there were a few small mishaps, one person fell out of their boat after hitting a sandbank. another lost the lower part of their gearbox. there were only 14 boats that started, and only 12 crossed the finish line

That looks wonderful, I was concerned on the net it looked like you were going to have torrential rain & a tornado somewhere around there.

I still like to do it again, before I get too decrepit & show all you Kiwis the error of your ways!

Nudge which one of those boats is yours, the only person I recognised there was Ross & his hair is much lighter in colour than the last time I saw him!
