Saving Old Seagulls

It’s sad but I can’t keep everything what’s coming to my workshop. After having some nice Christmas days i‘ve been there for clearing up and making some pictures. And now it’s official that i‘ll have to give away five engines.

But maybe one of you is interested? The engines are located in Germany next to the Dutch boarder. Shipping may could be a little difficult but it’s not completely impossible, but collecting would be a lot better.

All engines had a short check but not a test run. That means they’re willing to start with some fuel in the carburettor for some seconds, but they definitely are needing to get a bigger service before using because of being stored for years.

The numbers are:

F1042C9, a Forty Featherweight from 03/1969

WSPCL1155GG7, a Silver Century Plus Clutch from 07/1977

FP1489F1, a Forty Plus from 06/1971

FP1224J2, a Forty Plus from 09/1972

GFP2307EE7, a Forty Plus from 05/1977, sadly without the mounting bracket

If you’re interested, feel free to ask. The negotiable price for every engine will be less than 90€/75gbp and a special price for buying all is also possible...

I‘ve sold two of them to a collector today. Maybe he’ll be a new member to this Forum the next time.

Today i’ve tested them. This three are running, but they’ll need attention at all. But sadly the FP14… has a unnormal noise from the flywheel or the crankshaft and maybe not the most coolant.
The price for these three engines will be at 180€ and it’s negotiable. Collection is possible in Germany, only about an hour away from the Dutch border…

And they‘re all sold.
