Where can i get decent new nuts and bolts that are machined the same as originals?

Needing a load for an FV im doing some stuff to...

HA, is there an engineering reason why you would use self-colour fasteners over stainless?

I was just showing the young lad where he could buy inexpensive nuts, original ones were not stainless FFS.

Jacob, are you trying to obtain 1/4" BSF set screws just like the originals? These have a specific head design, which has a name, but I have forgotten what they are called. Does anybody know what the name is? This will help Jacob to find the original looking set screws.

They are "cheese head" screws. If all else fails, You can buy them in stainless from this site in Australia.

Cheers for the replies everyone! Yeah H-A those look alright but don't seem to be machined the same as originals. Was having the same problem sourcing nuts and bolts for a Triumph 21 Bathtub bike the other week too!

Jeremy its mainly the powerhead bits i'm after.
