Etch primer under top coats

I am working on an engine here, its a 3.5hp I think and with the Wipac coil, it has a clutch and a large five bladed prop.

Works well too but its time to strip it down and do a cosmetic job on on.

I see that the green etch primer under the silver top coats is quite resistant to paint stripper.

The engine number is LLS 2904

That is a good thing that first layer is hard to remove.

Obviously done correctly.

Yes I agree, it is a very thin application.

I will blast what will come free off, then apply a new coat of twin pack etch primer.
