unusual Amal 46 N carb

Hi guys,
I found an unusual Amal 46 N carb fitted in a SD.
It is larger than the common 46 N.
Did anyone ever see another similar to this?

Yes Tam, it has a bigger float bowl compared to the others

Looks like a common type 46 carb body, but with a motorcycle derived float bowl.

That’s a float bowl as fitted to an Amal 276 carb, as fitted to various British motorbikes during the 1930s through to the 1950s
