This is obviously part of "Mastermind" you have to work out which Seagull model this is for.
NOT EASY!
Let's work it out by elimination, & list the models it won't fit.
Was it listed on April 1?

Outstanding bit of engineering that. A square shaft in a round seal. Marvelous.

Come on gentlemen, there must be a post 1938 unmodified Seagull that this seal will work in.
In fact I will award a prize to the first person who identifies it, of a new English £5 note sent anywhere in the world

Can you just send me the 5 note anyway?
I'd like to buy one to see if they make my water pump housing faster.

Sorry Jacob, Seagull took over Marston late 37 & changed the name mid 38.
Come on, this fiver is burning a hole in my pocket, it might kill a lot of moths!
