Saving Old Seagulls

Would a featherweight gearbox end cap fit on a FPC/ model 75 gearbox.
I am trying to make my modified engine more streamlined!

A featherweight or minus gearbox cap on an FPC, which I suspect is a F forty, P plus gearbox and C clutch, so a minus cap on a plus box no.

I didn't think it would but figured it was worth asking!

Why not try using something like jb-weld and create a more sleeker shape to the end cap and front part of the gearbox.

I've got pictures somewhere, but can't find them at the moment of what i did with mine.
Don't let the "purists" see what you're doing Jacob.

It's not about purists, more about bodgery..JB weld yeah right.

You may laugh Adrian, but it works.
Used in the right way it's very strong stuff.
