Saving Old Seagulls

Gents, I have made a start on an owners and buyers guide for the SD models. The aim is to put together a fairly brief potted history of the History and specification of these lovely engines, and to hopefully debunk a few myths too.

I'm looking for some decent photos so as to involve others in this, rather than just use my own pictures. So can you post any photos showing SDs in their correct form?

The finished document is likely to be photo heavy and text light...

First I'm looking for pics of a SD with correct original features in "As found" condition. even better if it is green painted.

Here's a few pics from my "archives" to get things started.

All of these pics are from another forum member (who shall remain nameless unless he wants to be named of course) but for reference purposes i have been allowed special permission to show these for the cause.
Bear in mind that not everything is as it should be with some of these "golden oldies".
Everything in "as found" condition.

Too many incorrect parts to use that one in an owners and buyers guide I'm afraid Jon.I hoping to put an entirely accurate document together and highlight some of the incorrect things that we hear regularly.

I'm loving all these 102 SD photo's ! Some lovely machines

SD5709. now fitted with correct square throttle leaver as shown in period photo. Cant find a side bracket through.

Thanks for all the contributions so far I'll be doing a bit more work at the weekend, hopefully it will be finished then.

I'm also looking for engines in fully restored condition to feature. Remember the key aim of this guide is to show original features in any condition.
