Hi anyone know what size tap and die i need to redo some crap thumbscrews on a few motors?
Or if anybody sells (New ones)

If my memory serves me well it is 7/16 BSW.

Yep - it is.

In the UK there are companies selling imperial taps and dies, either individually or as sets, Tracy Tools being one of them - sure they would post overseas.

There are usually a good number of taps and dies to be found on eBay, of varying quality it has to be said. John at SOS can supply new thumb screws of course, listed on the main web site.

Get also a 9.20mm or a bit less drill. That's the tap drill diameter.

Load of outlets in Auss that sells, try Nuts n' Bolts: Numco; Blackwoods. All have outlets throughout.
