I know seagull owners don't swear or punch people, but there are days.

The guides that my wife leads, needed another motor for their lake camp. and as the normal yamaha I send with her was in use so i lent them the ENFRL.
Evelyn can use it. without much fuss.

So it was put on a tinny, it has nut on the thumb screw threads, so it do it up by hand and then pinch it up with a small shifter. All good.
Except this time a ham fisted oaf used the spanner from his tow ball. No prizes for guessing the result.

So i need, want, a transom bracket of the late model type. PLEASE.

Have you thought about getting the clamp welded?

I have a couple of these spare, will dig one out, postage could be expensive, anyone flying halfway round the world soon?

H-A

P.S. Found one NOS looks the same, £8.00 plus postage if you are interested.

P.P.S.
Your transom clamps are the same as Kingfisher ones, the normal EFNR ones are different, must be a late one.

Thank you, thank you, thank you, I will defiantly take the clamp. Yes i have wondered why mine didn't look like the picture you posted.
It was built in September 1986. The bracket looked more like the "Classic 5 " so thanks for the info.
I think some new thumbscrews and cups, are in order as well.

Will pm You. Thanks Andrew
