Following a few posts in threads on here I gather a few of us use our gulls for what they were intended. This got me wondering.....
Is your gull a show pony or a trusty workhorse?
I will start the ball rolling, heres my workhorse
OK i admit its just a way of seeing members boats

My 40 minus SJM defo a workhorse. Used most weekends all year round on the tender.
Having seen some of the fantastic restorations on here I could easily be tempted to do a pukker restoration on a similar engine, but it would still have to be a user. Perhaps for "good" days in the "summer"
Been using gulls now for ahem 39 odd years. To me they are and have always been something to use.
But I do admire some of those restorations.
Do not let me get hold of anything too rare because I will have to work it!
