Saving Old Seagulls

Wanted 32mm drive shaft tube off 102 Barge pusher or silver century as I have a project to Extend my Barge pusher by 8"
I only actually need half a tube ... slight corrosion to chrome ok as it will be welded anyway.

I have one that has been bodged at the crankcase bracket ( new lug welded on - not too straight either ) - so really sort of no go to use as such. Its the large diameter tube - 32 - as from a wspcl. Chrome actually is quite good - from the top recess down.
So - only bottom end useable.

Swap for something ?
