I tripped over this engine the other day, when having a tidy up in the garage. It did run, in a butt of water, back in about 2001, but has been gathering dust since. It does have a damaged transom fixing screw, but as far as I know it is complete, although some parts are in a plastic box, found with it! John Williams has suggested I advertise it, on here, for around £35, with the proceeds going to the RNLI. Would rather not have to sent it by courier, so collection by purchaser would be best. I am in Lee-on-the-Solent, Hampshire. Please contact me on kim16bristow@hotmail.co.uk if you have any questions, or would like to make an offer. The serial number, for those that are interested is: EF124H17
I'm amazed at how good this forum is!! The engine has sold already! Didn't get quite as much as I expected, but then I didn't know it was sized! At least the RNLI will be a bit better off.
