Hello All,
I am seeking your assistance to identify a little gem purchased through eBay Australia last week. It was described in the advert as an "Australian made outboard of unknown brand". Here's a few pics to help with identification.
Any information, pictures, old adverts etc would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Re: Mystery Australian Outboard - ID help please
Just wanted to post a BIG THANK YOU message to our old mate Bruce AKA SOS member Collector Inspector in WA for providing a positive ID to this outboard.
Not Australian as previously thought, but still a good thing none the less.
It is in fact a Tohatsu manufactured in Japan between 1960 and 1962.
Bruce was able to provide an internet reference that contained a couple pics, a parts list and some Tohatsu history that absolutely blew me away.
Thanks again Bruce, your assistance is much appreciated.

A couple of links for those who may wish to know more about this little Tohatsu.
First link was provided by Bruce AKA Collector Inspector. Thanks again Bruce. http://www.oddjobmotors.com/tohatsu.htm
Second was provided by a member of another forum where I also requested help with the ID. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p_K7uQOy024
Aside from the identification, technical and historical information, these links have also revealed the correct paint colour combination and what the original muffler looked like.
all will come in very handy down the track.
