Can anyone advise please, I`m fitting a Triumph Twist Grip Throttle (Coming from India of all things) to my engine and have been informed that a standard Amal Cable will fit without modification. Is this correct or am I being led up the garden path.

I have to say I am not a fan of non seagull twist grip throttles. They do not stay open ie take your hand away and the throttle will close. A good feature on motorcycles but not outboards. Makes it very difficult to start the engine.

I have just taken them off and replaced them, one I have has an adjustment to hold the throttle in its position, but I still don't like them.
If you still wish it use one, find one with the clutch type adjuster and an in-line cable adjuster, it will make life easier.
