Silver Seagull from 70's

I found a Seagull from my cottage (WS2014EE4, Silver Century), stored in dry and cold warehouse. After -70's maybe used a couple of times in -80's...90's. I fixed the fuel pipe connections and changed gearbox oil (SAE140). I could not finish the first pull when it was already running. No corrosion (used in lake fresh water conditions). Also I ordered a wooden handmade 4.6m*1.5m boat, will be ready in spring 2015 or 2016 (one nearby traditional boat maker... plenty of orders...). More figures will follow maybe in future.

That engine looks good. I am always amazed when they start first pull after many years in the shed.
Your new boat sounds interesting, post some pictures.

The boat we selected will be manufacture from plywood, also traditional wood (usually pine) available.
In our case we prefer lighter weight, boat will be often pulled to a separate boathouse.
The models available (simple but nice to my mind) can be seen from the manufacturers web page (sorry in Finnish)

"kuutti" was our choice

Beautiful boat! Will it be plain (ply)wood or painted?

Will be plain plywood, impregnated multiple times by builder.
