Just a quick intro
I have recently acquired a lovely forty plus as a back up engine on my 4m searider. Main power is a 15hp mercury. Not exactly a speed machine but it keeps me happy.
I purchased it locally (via ebay) from a fine chap who is a retired marine engineer and now looks after the TS Royalist ( which retires shortly). It runs as sweet as a seagull can
I sold a perfectly good 4hp Yamaha with gears to make way
Why? Well why not? I also drive a 25 years old Land Rover 110 ( and a VW Up! so I know at last one car will start
) so it more of a mental condition than a logical train of thought!
I have given the little beast a tarting up with a bit of paint here or there. Got some spares from SOS
Hope to do some 'speed trials' when this band of rain has cleared
