Lucky it was spotted, only a five day listing, a little hard to miss.
Nice original decal.

Ouch! thats a bit steep for an FV. The F that came up was not that much. A decent original SD has just sold for £87. Which is the better value?

Putting the topic of the price to one side. It looks all correct, apart from the obvious later filler cap. I am not too sure about the transom bracket, but overall a nice middle series FV.

Dudes!!! So what would happen if I put one of my restored little forties up there? Should I expect 200-300pounds?
I think we are making our lives harder with such bids.

I can buy air tickets to UK and back for such sort of money and I think I should :P

I preferred it when it was 99p. :o
It does look all original, except the cap of course and people are willing to pay 150+ for it.
But still, I don't think its that overpriced, at the moment, we have all seen Marston's go for silly money.
Sometimes nice to see if you own them, not so good if you are buying.

E bay has all types of Seagulls up for auction. Apart from this FV which is certainly an interesting one, somebody is selling Seagulls by the foot!
There is a 3ft one (item: 141348289219) and a 4ft one (Item: 141348281355). Forget about complicated model and serial numbers; buy them by the foot! Far simpler.
Jeremy
ps I don't really understand what has been going on in the bidding process for the FV. What does 'private' mean as specified in the detail bidding history?

yes, i've often wondered that.
perhaps its a new way of hiding your identity from others.
i scan ebay all the time and i've got to know some of the forum members identities
