Hello everyone, can anyone offer any advice about insuring boats? We have recently purchased a small {13ft}boat with a cuddy. The boat is powered by a silver century 4.5 hp motor. We have been on the upper severn with it, but want to take it on the canals and the river below stourport and have been told we need insurance to obtain a license. I have looked online for insurance but can only get a quote for third party as I have no ideal what make or how old our boat is. Any advice would be much appreciated.[/list]

try noble marine
I found them good I have third party with them and cover my boat contents inc out boards on my all risk home cover I had an extra marine use section added and proved very worth while for £40.00 when I had £300.00 of stuff taken off the boat last year.

craftinsure.com are my insurers, I have an active link that opens their site, I will add it to the home page!

though the name is newish, they are actually a branch of the old 'Navigators and General'. Plus they are cheap! all done on line!
