From the other side of the pond

I recently rebuilt a 40+ for use on my 14' catboat. I have been sailing the Jean Alden since 2000 without an auxiliary. After finding myself becalmed in the middle of the Straits of Juan de Fuca in the Pacific Northwest, I decided to add a means of propulsion that would be more reliable than sculling with the rudder.
The second photo shows the Seagull pushing my boat along at about 3.5kts in calm conditions.
What a great little engine.
