Anyone ever come across what I am told, is a Volvo horizontallly opposed two stroke?

It has a massive muffler box at the rear, twin individual water feeds to the cylinders, single carby out front.

No photo's as it is not mine.

I was shown one today so just trying to find more info.

Thanks
Jeff

Without any mor info or pictures I agree Archimedes is a distinct possibility. they made a wide range of engines over the years, and changed hands - owned by Electrolux at one point - and latterly Volvo

Archimedes model B22. I have a long shaft one that has a remote tank and built in fuel pump. Nice engine but to big to lug about! A lot were sold for use in Africa apparently. Lots of bronze and brass on mine. When I get around to it I am going to shorten the shaft to make it a bit more usable!

Thanks people, that looks like the one I was looking at.

Only thing missing is the alloy spark plug protectors that were on the one I saw.

Mine has them too, but a slightly different arrangement, an open sided sort of cap. I imagine they are vulnerable to damage.
My B22 is a great big thing, too heavy ! anybody wants they can have it!

Oyster,
Most generous offer and I would accept apart from the freight to Australia would be crippling.

Would appreciate any pics though.
