Saving Old Seagulls

Hi All,
I recently purchased a Kinuta Outboard. It is an opposed twin, and I guess about 5hp. I think its from about 1940?. I havent been able to find out much at all about this.
I assume collector inspector probably has a couple?
It has no ignition, so I will have to adapt something I guess. It seems to be complete other than that.

No, I do not have one

Japanese motor, first made in 1940, I have attached a pic of an early one. I do not know what year yours is but I would say post war when the Japs got back up and running.
Designed and made by a Mr H. Ito.

They came in A and B class setups as well. I think by Yamato? Charles may well know more.

There must be somebody that has one. It must be reasonably early as it has a brass prop that looks like it belongs there. Most of the ignition is missing except for a set of points.
It is quite heavy, compared with a Riptide, but still a very interesting outboard.

This looks like a very interesting outboard and the photography is great.
Except, the images are on the horizontal.
Now , after having kricked my neck so many times previously trying to get a level viewing , I decided to turn my computor on its side but that caused all sorts of ruckus with the stacks of other items thereabouts .I also reckon that these computor wizards did not design things this way.
So I then cleaned everything off my computor table so I could ly horizontally onto the pictures and reduce strain on my neck.
It worked except I was so close everything was blury-blurry?
So I dragged the missus outa bed and got her to help me build a portable bed , padded , for studying horizontal photos on my computor but now I have no kitchen table .But I can see the photos nice and clear and without neck strain.
I feel, in my water , that there has to be something better.
Theres no doubt I'll come up with a proper solution although just at this moment its not coming through.

Save the pic and spin it 90 degrees? How's your neck now?
