Is it possible to detect if a carb has been converted without removing the jets? Dont have spanner and John has run out.

Villiers?
You have to pull the needle out of the slide by removing the adjustment screw above it. 2 stamped on needle and it's probably converted, 3 and it's 10:1
Cheers Rolf.

Rolf I think he's asking about a twin jet carb & they have the number stamped on the side of the jet, Seagull carry Jet keys if John has none.
Make it idiot proof and someone will make a better idiot.
