It is my best example and has been on a transom.
It has an ignition module but point set is stored away.
IT WENT EXCEPTIONALY WELL ON THE WATER.
The comps are even at 65psi when used last.
Now I have to actually extract it from a back rack...........................
Looking forward to this

Yes Huggy! It is.
I dragged it out just now that rain has stopped. Fuel tap and away we go Sunday!
Note the marks on flywheel. Sorted the module timing and locked what was advance and retard lever last time I used it.
Ran a normal advance setting last It was on a boat and reved out smooth then....................
Wish me luck eh?

Interesting Afternoon this! Between grabbing bits of the motor racing at Wanneroo on Telly I started it.
I had stored it away nicely so just had to add fuel and check spark. Everything going according to the plan.
Four pulls and it fired up nice, got it warmed up and set it to idle while I got the camera set up.
While setting the camera, it started to whistle....peep peep peep every revolution and it got louder and it stopped dead!
Camera back into pocket and start again? No way, nothing!
The Old Fella blew a gasket, the one for the lower bearing supprt housing. The housing, when removed allows the crankshaft to be removed from the casing.
I do not mind in the slightest as easy to fix but the whistling noise was actually really cool in that "Help" was being asked of me
Love my Old Dears to bits!
Green casing pic is the leak
Other with my finger is a spare powerhead just making it clear as to where.
Cheers

Runs nice now.
Used a cheap trick on peeping gasket................................aluminium foil duct tape
The advance retard friction was too tight as well........................

One other vid, coz it was a laugh when I had it on a transom.............
I took the prop off obviously for this vid so the water intake is not stuffed about by a prop in a tub. See how much water comes out?
I was putting along at about 6 knots and the tail wind was about 6.5 knots...............I sat in a cloud of water for an hour travelling back up the Donnelly River!
All thanks to the holes that you see spewing forth behind me.............pissed off at the end and soaked!
I will block 3 holes up and put a tell tale from the exhaust dropper T fitting so I can see it next time.
It will idle with all of the holes blocked up and bloops from under from the exhaust outlet anyway.
Silly Old Thing eh?
