Hi all,

I have a silver century plus with clutch drive, that i have stripped down to clear the waterways. This was an awful experience as I sheared one head bolt... and then when trying to remove it, inadvertently cracked the Block! i now am in need of a replacement block and head gasket. if you are able to help please do not hesitate to get in contact with me.

thanks TIm.

Just be careful with Ebay, ask lots of questions and who will pay the return postage if the block is cracked or no good because the phrase "off a running motor" does not mean much, I have a Seagull which the outer water jacket is almost all gone and corroded away but it still runs. Be careful with anything that is newly painted :?

I have had my fingers burnt several times with Ebay, fair enough it's possible to get a refund but not on the return postage which is quite a bit on a block.

Saying that, there are some good honest sellers that do not mind the questions if they are sure and confident of what they are selling.

Good Luck, Rene.
