Yep. They have travelled far and wide.....
I haven't seen a photo of an original one on the main site or elsewhere. Does anyone have an original? I imagine they damaged pretty easily and can understand the non choked cowl being used for this reason.

Another original slightly damaged trumpet from a SD I bought last week
A perfect copy trumpet from John SOS.
The only difference comparing an original: It's not damaged.
Notice the position of the float chamber assy.

Excellent! Is the top photo's trumpet brass or copper? You must have a few SD's by now.
How many on the register now Charles?

Are SDs part of the register, or is the register OP or earlier engines? I have a few SDs to register, if so.

Initially SD's were registered along with the Marstons, but when you've gone through all the details & pictures of the first 50 or so & they're almost all indentical except for the air intake & the transom bracket, with very few of the type B no1 & B no2 bracket in existance there doesn't seem to be any point in doing all this work.
We know the order was for 10,000 & probably at least 500 still survive in working condition in the UK & if anybody is interested enough & can spare enough time to study colate & maintain the owner database for this model please let me know.

Charles, which are the type B no.1 and no.2 brackets? Can you post a picture of each?

No I can't, I only have hard copy, but they are on here somewhere, they are the angle iron & sheet iron with the bronze fitting side mount ones, I've seen pics of them on here.
I don't remember who posted them.
