Martin Outboards

What do the experts/collectors think of Martin Outboards?
Specifically the Martin 20
like the one pictured here/..with the sears viking

I don't know much about Martins, but I believe they were well regarded in the late 40's and early 50's, and were a serious contender in the race series of the day.
I only know of one collection which includes Martins in the UK, but there must be others. If you have -or can get - one or more of the Peter Hunn outboard books, they contain paragraphs covering Martin (and Sears) history, and you would be able to date the engines and find out about correct spark plugs and fuel ratios etc.
