It's because its rare. They only made forty plus motors for decades. So there are probably only, well, tens of thousands of them still around.

It gets worse

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/seagull-outbo ... 20beca8b5f

Broke conrod getting it apart, broke two studs.

Only £8.55 postage.

Breaking for spares does not mean you need to "break" it.
Or am I being a little grumpy ?
Piston need a little TLC

How about this in Oz: http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/ws/eBayISAPI ... rid=229515

I wonder if there will be a bid: the starting bid of 649.99 Australian Dollars = 484.76 Euros; 415.47 British Pounds; 667.99 US Dollars

I Have a plan....
I'm going t buy the seagull, one of the bikes and a hamster cage. I will be a little under 3 grand down, and if I use the bike to get the motor and the cage to the sea, strap the motor to the cage, call the coast guard and tell them I am off to Holland in the assembled plot, I will probably end up in the same ward as the vendor. Or am I just an ageing cynic?

I noticed this as well from them

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/NICE-Old-SEA ... 3f0fe6722e

I corrected them on what it was and suggested they may get a bid for 300 if they lowered the price. Not rare but hard to find complete. Barrell is probably shot as the weakest part on these.

I would like the tin dog...........................just like the one in the old Salty Seagull adverts aye!

Hard to define "never used" Also only 1 picture. Hmm perhaps hardly used would be more accurate.
