Great to see that he got it going.
Must say that is the worst test stand made from 2 Workmates that I have ever seen.
Put both workmates on the ground, and clamp a bit of board between the two.

P.S.Do the plastic taps have any cork in them?

Dylan has had to take this post off. Its a long story but to cut it short some people who dont agree with Dylans outlook on being pissed off with microlights at the end of the garden started being rude to everyone. Shame because it was a funny video.

Ok, this video is back on now and he has also added another one in which he seems to go through a guilt trip about using his seagull in the wash, this area is a big nature reserve place so I can see where he is coming from. have a look yourself and see what you think.

Wouldn't mind so much if he knew how to use one. Didn't see him open the tank breather at any time and you don't need to over prime the motor that much.
Inboard engines have the added advantage of a water cooled exhaust that hides most things.
He is not that he is that environmentally worried that he still has to use an inboard and outboard on a sailing boat.

The bit that makes me wonder a little is that diesel engine can throw out some serious concoction of chemicals, it gets mixed with the cooling water and drops in the sea, different shit, same effect.it seems a bit of an overkill to just dismiss seagulls altogether. you have to commend his concern for the environment in that area, but I doubt the little bit our seagulls add make any difference. Plus there are biodegradable oils out there now to help reduce the output. On a final note, holding a little drip tray under the float while starting her up would stop the float tickle problem??

You don't have to jiggle the jiggler to start the motor. The bowl will fill to the correct level by itself. By holding the button down overrides the float valve causing the overflow. Some later models have a sealed gearbox and run at 1/25 further reducing slick.
Apparently, natural oil seepage from the earth's crust far exceed what we pollute.
