Saving Old Seagulls

hi all can any one tell me if the exhauast is ment to get realy hot .im running a silver 4.5 hp

ps its pumping water well (pencil width)

Yes they get very hot.

When you have lifted an engine that has just run by its exhaust, you will remember not to do that again.
