1913 Waterman

Post by phil »

This 1913 Waterman is quite amazing, it was found in someone's basement in pieces. The owner told his neighbour a heavy duty mechanic that he had an old motor and it was going to the scrap yard unless the neighbour wanted it. He got it cleaned, soda blasted and assembled it, found someone in the club who makes replacement parts [the rudder]. Here it is basically as found. Sadly its not mine, there is a limit to how much I can spend on old motors.

Now for some reason when I copy and paste on this site, the pasted piece does not come out highlighted.
