hi guy,s would like to try making up my own gasket,s for my 40+carb/gearbox and most washer,s any suggestion,s would be smashing or should i just buy them want to experament many thank,s

You are only going to need to replace a gasket once, so best to use the right ones.
Give John a ring at the top of the page, he has all the gaskets you need.

Just one for the gearbox. a little satisfying doing your own but the rest are fibre and better buying em from john

Find some paper or thin card that is the correct thickness, then just cut them out.
A small set of punches will make it a little easier.
Most if not all seagull gaskets are not very highly stressed, so as long as the paper is the correct thickness then you should have no problem.
