Cracked crankcase bearing

Right i got my seized forty plus apart and stripped. After a good clean prior to reassembly i noticed a couple of small cracks on the lower half crankcase housing bearing. See below.

Now as these cracks aren’t on the bearing face is it critical?

It seemed to me to create a stress point in machining it this way so would think it's common.
