AFter my fiasco on Lake Cayuga the other week (water in the fuel) I went out to fire up another member of my flock

'Roscoe' my FPL, pulled twice, no firing.

"We have no sympathy for these people at all"

Popped off the carb bowl, dumped the fuel, wiped out the bowl, and

VVVRRMMMMM Roscoe purred like a kitten.

Same water in the fuel problem due to our temperature swings.

The prop spring did break when I took the prop off to run it in the tub, so Ill order a new plus a spare from JOhn of course.

Roscoe saved our hides yesterday - we were out on the Hudson in the Island 17 and a thunderstorm came through.

First time we had motored home through thunder and lightning on the river with the whole family..the kids did not like it much

The Admiral kept a cool head though.

We were making 4.8 mph against a tide of 2-3 mph, hugging the shore line in case we had to get off quickly

Thanks Roscoe...(Forty plus)
