Saving Old Seagulls

I read on a post earlier that torqueing the top nut is problematic, Unfortunately I can't find the thread again. Anyway, I bought a cheap oil filter wrench from Halfords (strap type not chain) and cut the stap off. I then replaced it with a longer strap cut from the end of a strap and ratchet, put that round the flywheel as though it was an enormous filter and Bob's your uncle!
