Exhaust Removal Help Plz

Hi im stripping down a seagull featherweight model number EFS

Wondering how you get the exhaust off the barrel, i've undun 1 screw which screwed through the exhaust to the barrel,
but its still held on solid. Can't see anything holding it on, what do i need to do to get it off please ?

A lot of gentle persuasion and it will eventually come off!

Heat at joint where you removed the screw. Or undo the drivetube from powerhead, remove lower unit, wiggle bottom end of exhaust tube [wiggle and pull, more heat if necessary] till it comes off. Easy does it, don't want to expand upper end of tube too much.

Run a bit of diesel down the inside of the exhaust, leave it to soften the crud and all sould be well.

two days of liberal wd40 application worked for me. Thoght it was never going to come off as it wouldnt budge, then hey presto once it started to move it amost fell off!

Correct me if I'm wrong but there is a rubber O ring on the later ones that may be damaged if you apply heat. I can usually get the large flat of a screwdriver between block and top edge and lever it down. In the early days I tried tapping not too gently on the lower side of the block..... sheared the edge of the outlet hole off... :( salvageable though.
