I've found it Chuky - the 4mm ply is already on order - the plans in the post . .
It's not the engine -it's the streamlining. Shall be out testing shortly and saving the fare to New Zealand -

Cancel the plywood order.
As soon as British Airways staff start their strike, I'm going up to where they park all their planes with a long bar chainsaw.
I have calculated that in less than half an hour, I can saw all those sections out of various wings. A couple of hours with a cordless drill & a few pop rivets, I'll be ready for testing.
What are you doing tonight RBT? these sections won't fit inside my car, so I'll need a hand to get them on the roofrack. no one will notice if I carry them upside down, I will just look like another dork with an oversize spoiler!
ps, bring some gloves they might test for fingerprints.
pps, i'm having trouble with those plans, in the top pic there are 3 sections of wing either side & the bottom one only 2, so we need to get the pilot section (Airbus 380) then 2 slices from a Jumbo then 2 from an Airbus 320 & the third ones if required from a 737.
Have I got that right?

Tonight? - Cuh, if I'm up in the Sarf Eeest with the big trailer I might as well purchase some of those lifejackety things and attend CrouchFest . . .
Do those Airbus vehicles have seats? - our regulations stipulate driver and passenger so the single cockpit design would need a change.
Mind you, we don't want a staff strike half way round the course - or will you remove the BA logo?
