gearbox oil question

Can I use SAE 140 Hypoid gear oil in the gearbox of a 40+?
I will most likely be using this :

Most likely..........if it is a single weight oil; even if it has additives. ( I gave up checking when the link asked for a zip code....)

Hypoid oils contain EP additives to prevent the wear that would otherwise occur with hypoid gears due to sliding between the load bearing faces.
As it says in the FAQs EP additives can cause corrosion of bronze components at elevated temperatures. Seagull gearboxes do not run at elevated temperatures!
