1942 SD exhaust

Post by timberman2004 »

lovely little number the old SD
truly believe it out-pushes my Century and Silver Century (that'll get 'em going !!)

naval version if you believe the stories
copper coolie hat magneto (and yes, Charles has got the JM nos )
loads of brass around the Amal and throttle lever etc etc

even got the bronze 'Donkey Dick' (scientific term ya see) clutch lever

BUT the brass exhaust is stained to hell

reccos to A, bring it up to its gleaming pristine glory and B, a lacquer to keep it that way

ps.
yes I do put it in the sea
Neal...errrr... an ON, OP, 2xSD, F, 3xSJP, LLS, 2xFV, FVP, FPC, CPC WPCL, WSC, and a few eggs hatching, hopefully
