Flat exhaust 'D' with skeletal clamp will be no match for my new super fast hull design. Now lets see your skiff is about 19.5 foot and must be quite heavy (can you let know the weight, sorry displacement as I will need to enter this into my hull design calculations) New hull model MK3a (design revision

is meeting with approval from the inner sanctum, am looking at between 21 and 25 foot length, super sleek Bermuda style.
Water tank trials will be starting shortly with 1/8th scale model. (will post pictures)
TC with the L cut off (that is about 6 inches) is progressing well, all in bits (only picked it up yesterday). New rings fitted, big end bearing adjusted, de-coked, carb fully cleaned. Have spotted various areas that will be gas flowed, not sure if matching cut out in crankcase half to that of transfer port in cylinder will make it run better or worse, has anyone done this?
Am getting cooling water up the drive leg as there is a bearing missing! Whoever did the last service missed that one!
Am sure engine has not done much work main bearing look good and you can still see most of the machining marks in the bore.
Looks like the TC(minus the L) will make it to the Thames Race!
